  Dr Darah Burke graduated from Manchester University in 1993 and has worked at Awburn House since 1999. He is married with 3 grown up children. He performs new baby checks. Over the years he has developed skills in diagnosing and treating skin problems, undertaking dermatoscopy (detailed skin lesion examination), minor surgical procedures and joint injections. He helps support the management of the practice and supervises some staff members.

I qualified a GP in 2018 through the Pennine Northwest GP training programme. My clinical interests include dermatology, men's health, and cardiology. I completed extended training posts in both dermatology and cardiology. I have expertise in safeguarding, clinical governance, and General Practice Education, and I hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Practice, Management, and Education with Distinction.
